We started our trip at apex car rental's. We got the 2008 ford focus for our trip. The first night we stayed at Napier at a holiday camp right in the centre of town which was nice. The next again day we had a long drive up through the middle of the north island to Omokoroa Beach, which is a place not that far away from Tauranga. There we stayed at the hot pool camp which is practically a holiday camp with hot pools. They had three hot pools and each one had a different temperature. The next again day we went for a drive and then went to the town just out of Hobbiton and had a steak pie! That day we went to Rotorua (maori town) and stayed at cosy cottage holiday camp and decided what to do. I persuaded my mum to take me dirt biking and she did. We went there and the man put me on a 110cc, it had three gears. I followed the guy around the masive paddock! Then he let me go on my own after that amazing experience i went zorbing. That's when you are in a big inflated ball with water in it and you roll down a big hill. Then we went back to the camp. Next day i booked a tour with the motor bike poeple, he took me out of the paddock and there was loads of big hills! Steep ones too that you had to go up and down. That day i got fully kitted up. After that i went luging again which was fun as well but not as fun as the dirt biking. The next day we went to Taupo and stayed at a spa resort which was very fun because they had a flume and 8 big pools! Next day me and my mum this time went quad biking which was extremely fun, the guy took us on a tour round the tracks. My mum was very scared, 1 because she had never been on a quad bike and 2, the tracks were quite challenging because the guide kept dissapearing and you did the tracks on your own! We also went to have a mud bath at hells gate. You could walk through hells gate which had exploding mud pools and the only existing mud volcano. The next day we drove down to Wanganui and stayed there then the next day we drove to Wellington!

Go karting
I went go karting at the drift karts centre at Porirua. I've already been there twice now and I might go again. Its quite good there because you can drift on the marble surface. My mum was going to go on but she was too chicken because there were to many people on! They also go quite fast, on the website it said they go up to 50km/h witch is not bad on a marble surface. The track wasn't that big but i got 20 Min's for 29 dollars which is about 12pound, that's really good for 20 Min's.

Karori wildlife sanctury
The wild life park was good, but couldn't find a kiwi. They were probably all asleep, but i did find a big lizard that give me a fright. It was about one metre long and it looked a bit like a dinosaur. We didn't really see much but you heard lots of bird and cicadas! After that we went home to have a BBQ!
